ExonHit Therapeutics, founded in 1997, is headquartered in Paris, France, and has had US operations in Gaithersburg, MD, since 2001. . NeuroInsights spoke with Dr. Loïc Maurel, who joined two and a half years ago as CEO, Dr. Matthew Pando, EVP of Therapeutics and Dr. Isabelle Barber, SVP of Diagnostics. Says Maurel, "ExonHit is at a turning point: we are moving from R&D to commercialization. We plan to introduce our Alzheimer’s diagnostic AclarusDx in 2011. The second product we hope to bring to market is a test for breast cancer. We also have a compound for AD that successfully completed Phase IIa and we are looking for a partner to take it further..."
